CSFFA FIRE DEPARTMENT  OF THE YEAR

INSTRUCTIONS

The individual department inducted is expected to be of the highest quality and clearly worthy of recognition at the state level. The nomination period is open December 12 th and closes January 20 th.

Departments must meet the following criteria:
1. The nominee department must be an active member of the Association for at least 15 years consecutive and must have been a part of the Colorado Fire Service for at least 25 years.
2. The nominee department must have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the fire service beyond the local level. Participation in regional, state, and /or fire
service endeavors are preferred. This may include active involvement in fire service legislation, codes, training, landmark state or regional fire service programs, etc.
3. Provide a narrative describing why you believe the individual is worthy of this award. Be sure to include examples of the department’s dedication, loyalty,
productivity, and professionalism as described in this document. Special achievements are of particular reason for Nomination Supporting Material.

NOTE: THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO PRESENT THIS AWARD IF NOMINATIONS DO NOT MEET ALL THE CRITERIA
